Europe trip and the chicken pox
We're just finishing up from a whirlwind of a month, and I'm still trying to catch my breath! In April, Isaac and I celebrated our 10th anniversary! He wanted to do something really special for number 10, and he spoils me terribly (I'm not complaining, mind you!)... so he planned a 2 week trip to Europe! We flew into Switzerland May 16th, and flew out of Italy on the 31st! We took Kaitlyn with us, because she's still pretty attached to Mama - and we had SO MUCH FUN!
Unfortunately, 3 hours into our flight home, Isaac started getting really really sick... fever, chills, stomach ache. Didn't go away for 3 days! And... turned out to be good old chicken pox. Neither Isaac nor I ever had them as children, so the kids and I came down with them 2 weeks later. We're on the tail end of it though, and looks like we're over the worst of it. My mom and my good friend Avie were lifesavers - they came at various times and helped us survive. :)
