I've been learning something the past few days...
It's so easy as a mama to go, go, go. Ever find yourself doing just that? We honestly don't leave the house much, spending most of our days at home. But I find myself moving constantly while my kids are up: doing laundry, school, sorting, organizing, straightening, training,cooking... the list never ends. Once I put the kids down for naps, I may have some down-time.
But it recently occurred to me that in doing that, I'm robbing my little ones. Sometimes, mama needs to just stop. Sit down and snuggle with your little ones... lay in bed and tell each other stories... just lounge around together and love on each other! While you work together, be all there; but take the time to stop and rest and snuggle.
It may mean that I have work that goes unfinished, or crowds into naptime; but oh, to have my little ones remember me as a warm snuggly mama who stopped her busy-work JUST to love on them!
My phone has a plethora of pictures that give you a glimpse of our life the past couple of months! (I have pictures of Heather and Josh's newest blessing, Cherish, on my camera... I'll share those later.)
